The Stairway, Katoomba

This painting was inspired by a weekend spent hiking in the Blue Mountains. It captures the early morning, ethereal descent into the valley, where we could only see a few metres ahead and glimpsed ghost-like trees through the mist.

It’s acrylic, charcoal, and pastel on a deep, stretched canvas. The painting is in a lovely ‘rescued timber’ frame and is ready to hang.
