Petite Collection is an Australian business based in Sydney, NSW providing curated online exhibitions for invited artist’s 18 years and over. Artists can sell their original artwork or signed, limited edition prints via an online gallery provided by Petite Collection, to individuals interested in purchasing artwork. Petite Collection facilitates worldwide purchases.
All prices shown on the Petite Collection website are in Australian Dollars ($AUD). Prices are fixed and not negotiable.

Terms and Conditions of Use
From Jan 29th, 2024, new terms will apply to all artists and users of our site.
All artwork original or editioned must be given a three-month period to sell from the commencement of consignment.
Payment Terms
Once your work sells, you’ll be notified by an email, and you’ll see it marked as out of stock on our site. Once the work has been received by the customer and a 72-hour period of returns has passed the artist will be paid. This will up to 14 days from the time that the sale occurs on our site.
Service Fees
Once this 3month period is completed artists in group exhibitions who have not sold an artwork will be invoiced a $30 service fee to have their work included on our site, this covers admin and the benefit of our paid marketing driving traffic to the site. Artists who sell their work will not be charged the service fee.
Any artist who does not sell work in a solo exhibition within the 3-month consignment period with specific advertising on our platforms, graphic work, front page representation on our site will be invoiced $150 to go towards our marketing costs. Artists who sell more than 1 work in a solo exhibition will not be charged a fee.
Any artist who requires us to do the uploads of their work, delivers uncropped images or requires us to change the files to a JPG or to swap out poor quality images will be invoiced $30 per task.
Group Exhibitions
Artists can exhibit from 2- 8 works under $800 and 2 x works must be from $300- $600 with all works under 50cm x 50cm. an artist cannot exhibit less than 2 works and at least 2 pieces must be created new for the exhibition.
Solo Exhibitions
Artists can create up to 20 works for the show up to $2000 in price and no more than 70cm x 70cm. At least 6 works must be $650 approx. or under. With at least 4 x works $850 or under, and at least 4 x works must be approx.$1200- $2000 and all works created new for the exhibition.
A solo show is an extra investment in marketing on our behalf and any artists participating in a solo – must participate in social media marketing to coincide with our own efforts with at least 4 permanent posts or reels on their IG page.
Free Services For Artists
Freight is paid by users of our site and is therefore not a cost for artists. Freight services are inbuilt into our site and calculate costs per your location at the checkout.
Sales
Petite collection will be given the first option to sell artists work at a discounted rate over any other providers including your own website from work that has appeared on our site. Once a three-month period has finished your work can be optioned for sale on our site. This is not compulsory, but any artist who is found to put work marked at a discount that has been promoted on our site within a one-month period from the conclusion of consignment period on their own site, another provider, gallery or stockist will not be invited back to our exhibitions.
Commissioning Of Artwork
Artists agree to be available to commissions from our clients. Petite Collection invests significantly in paid advertising and building artists profiles through its promotion of artists on its social media platforms. Any artist who is found to take a commission or a sale that originated from Petite Collection’s site, or content on social media will have their work removed without warning from the Petite Collection site and will not be invited to participate in any future exhibitions.
Commission
Petite Collection charges a 30% commission with
3% allocated towards GST
3% allocated towards service providers such as Afterpay, Stripe, Paypal, Apple Pay
Total of 36% Commission for Petite Collection and 64% to the artist.
Unavailable Artwork
Any artist who sells work currently available on Petite Collection’s site, allocated in its backend pre-exhibition, or promoted as a part of a petite collection exhibition on an artist’s socials, their own site or with another provider, gallery or stockist will be invoiced 36%. Any claims of damaged work as the reason for the artwork not being available need to be supported with a photograph and an email. Any artist found to break these terms will have their work removed from the site without warning and not be invited to participate in any future exhibitions.
Site traffic
Any artist in a group or solo exhibitions who redirects traffic away from Petite Collections site onto their own social media sites, blogs, newsletter by advertising their own website’s, collection points for work, does not advertise individual works or the collection as part of a Petite Collection exhibition will have their work removed without warning and not be invited back to any future exhibitions.
Content packages
Artists may provide complete reels no longer than 6 seconds without text or an artist’s tag’s watermarks over the content for Petite Collection to use at our discretion to [email protected] or to whatsapp 0418232141
Social media and promotion
Petite Collection is under no obligation to share content that is blurry shaky or not up to the standard its users expect, or to share individual posts or reels in group exhibitions.
Artist’s selling their work on our platform will be selected for our POPULAR PIECES on our site and given first preference in our social media schedule. Work that we feel will resonate with our collectors will also be selected, with Solo artist’s given individualised marketing attention in socials, front page advertising on our site and paid adds heavily invested in to bring traffic to the site for all artists.

Consistent Prices
Any artist whose prices are found to be inconsistent either on another supplier’s site, gallery or stockist or their own site at the same time we are exhibiting your work will have their work removed without warning and not be invited back to future exhibitions.

An artist’s original work prices must begin at $300 to be on our site
And $150 for editioned prints.
Listing Guidelines
Where inaccurate, misleading or a misrepresentation of quality, materials used, imagery or sizing are found to have been posted on a listing, then the artist’s works online can be terminated unless rectified immediately. Where an artist’s work has been sold and freighted, and the work has been found to have been inaccurate or misrepresented by the artist to the purchaser, then the work will be returned to the artist with freight paid for solely by the artist, and a full refund given to the purchaser.
Freight Guidelines
All artworks sold on the Petite Collection website include full insurance, tracking to emails and a signed for on delivery service. This service is booked by Petite with freight costs passed onto users of the site. Users are sent the booked freight label with tracking number for their reference.
Artworks must be packaged neatly and securely with bubble wrap or packing foam in solid cardboard boxes. Failure to pack artwork securely and satisfactorily may result in art being damaged in transit. If damage is to occur because of unsecure and unsatisfactory packaging, customer return and refund costs will be solely at the selling artist’s expense.
Boxes must be no larger than 5cm each side of the artwork with 8cm for the side angle. Any additional freight costs over our booked freight from artists not using the correct sized packages will have the charges removed from their commission.
Any artist who is found to advertise their own site or supply any other marketing material in the packaging will have their work removed without warning and will not be invited back to any future exhibitions.
Customer’s Responsibility
Customers who purchase artworks on the Petite Collection website must provide a delivery location that is reasonable and easy to access for couriers and delivery of artwork(s). Failure to do so may incur delivery charges if artworks need to be re-delivered due to inability and difficulty to deliver the artworks originally.
If an artwork(s) cannot be delivered and is taken to a collection point, artworks must be collected from that collection point within 14 days of the customer being given notice it is there to collect. Failure to collect artworks within that 14-day time frame may result in the artwork being returned to the artist and the customer forfeiting their 72hr return period.
After 72hrs has passed from notification of collection, it is considered the buyer owns the work, the artist is paid, and the refund period is expired. The buyer will then be charged for re-delivery of the artwork.
Limited Edition Prints
Please note that, limited edition and handmade prints are considered final sale. Therefore, returns and refunds are not excepted unless otherwise agreed by and approved by Petite Collection .
Refunds and Returns
Petite Collection offers customers a 72hr return period from the time of the purchaser receiving delivery of the artwork. Should they change their mind once they see the artwork in person the purchaser must email Petite Collection their request to return the art with a reason stating why they wish to return the work. The request will then be reviewed and is subject to approval by Petite Collection before a return is processed.
If the customer’s return is approved, the artwork must be repackaged as it was when delivered to them, and dropped to any Australia Post to be returned to the artist. The cost of return freight will be covered by the purchaser (unless otherwise agreed upon) and subtracted from the amount refunded once the art has been delivered back to the artist.
The artwork must be able to be collected for return within a reasonable timeframe, that is within 10 business days of contact with Petite Collection regarding the return of art. Unless otherwise agreed to by Petite Collection.
If the art is returned in any condition less than when it was sent originally, the purchaser will have any additional costs subtracted from their refund.
Returns are not available for items damaged in freight. These will be covered as part of the insurance attached to the delivery and the purchaser will be covered for any damaged art bought from the Petite Collections website.
Any additional cost for additional custom framing of an artwork will not be refunded.
Liability
Petite Collection does not have a physical showroom, gallery or space to view the art in person and is an online venue only.
Although all reasonable means is pursued to check the information provided by the artists is accurate, the user assumes full responsibility and risk for using Petite Collection’s website including and without limitation any of the content or information contained therein. Petite Collection accepts no responsibility for failure to comply with the site’s Terms and Conditions of Use where such failure is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Privacy and Security
Personal information and uploaded images will not be sold for use by Petite Collection to any other organisation or website.
All content on the Petite Collection website is protected under copyright of either Petite Collection or the artist. Any content cannot be downloaded or used without written permission from Petite Collection or the artist who created the work.
